“Extracomunitario” is a tale about belonging. Through an old archive of photographs, which tell the immigration trajectory of a family that goes in search of new possibilities at the beginning of the century, it intertwines with the same reality of its successor, which follows the same path and emigrates to another reality.
The non-belonging is stamped on the skin, it is felt when opening the mouth, demarcating it in the same way as its predecessors.
Images from the past that connect with the narrative of the ordinary daily life, which often behaves as an anomaly.
What was created to be common becomes an extra.
